The temples are for Kottai Mariamman, Saneeswaran, Anjaneya, Someshwarar and other Hindu god and goddesses.
Last week a thatched roof was put near Saneeswaran temple for the convenience of the devotees visiting the temple.
Some miscreants put fire for the roof in the wee hours yesterday, making the rood to go ashes.
The situation in Ram Nagar is tense and police are into action to avoid any further untoward incidents.
